Lucy Gaughan is a British designer specializing in digitally printed textiles. After studying theatre design at the University Of London, and working in various London theatres, she decided to pursue her interest in textiles. Lucy worked for several major London based designers, and her experiences there inspired her to set up her own company.

Originally from Manchester, Lucy decided to return, and the culture and history of the city have heavily influenced her upbringing in art and textiles. Her hand-drawn designs are digitally manipulated to generate a series of striking patterns, and everything is handmade in her Manchester based studio.

Lucy's work bridges the gap between the old and the modern in its design and application. She is heavily influenced by the bold, earthy designs of eastern european, amish and japanese artwork, influences she fashions to create a modern and contemporary feel.
